IT'S TIME TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR WATERWORKS
1 in 3 men over the age of 65 experience urinary problems. This can be due to many conditions. The most common cause of urinary problems with ageing men is due to an enlarged prostate medically known as Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). Men sometimes think these symptoms are due to aging and therefore often do not seek treatment. These symptoms however can be bothersome and impact a man’s life and personal relationships.
SYMPTOMS OF BPH MAY INCLUDE:
– Problems with starting urination.
– Frequent urination, particularly throughout the night.
– Urgency and possible urgency incontinence
– Reduced flow of urine.
– Passing drops of urine when you think you have finished.
If left untreated urinary symptoms can lead to serious complications including acute urinary retention and the need for surgery.
If you or your loved one is experiencing any urinary symptoms, don’t ignore them.
